InfoVacay is an independent travel information site created to help travellers make clearer, more practical decisions before they book and while they travel. Our guides focus on the details that shape a trip, including transport, accommodation areas, local costs, safety, weather and what to expect at a destination.

We currently publish destination guides and practical travel articles for Mexico, Spain and Greece. Our aim is to explain options clearly, highlight the information that matters most and help readers plan with realistic expectations.

First-hand travel experience

The people behind InfoVacay have travelled extensively across many of the destinations covered on this website.

Our experience in Spain includes around 15 visits to Gran Canaria, primarily staying in Puerto Rico and exploring places such as Puerto de Mogán and Playa del Inglés. We have also visited Mallorca, Barcelona, Madrid, Tenerife and several Spanish ports and destinations by cruise.

Greece has been a recurring destination, with multiple stays in Crete—particularly in and around Chania—as well as visits to Corfu and Thasos.

We have travelled to Mexico by cruise, including visits to Cozumel and Costa Maya. Our experiences there include Playa Mia Grand Beach and Water Park in Cozumel and La Bamba Beach Club near Costa Maya. We have also spent time in Fort Lauderdale, Miami and Key West in Florida, including before a cruise from Florida to Mexico and other Caribbean destinations.

This first-hand experience helps us understand how travellers compare destinations, plan transport and excursions, and navigate practical questions before and during a trip. However, not every InfoVacay article is based on a personal visit. We distinguish between our own travel experience and information researched by our editorial team or commissioned from other contributors.

How our content is created and maintained

Many of InfoVacay’s earlier travel articles were commissioned from independent professional writers selected for their destination knowledge or first-hand travel experience. Complete historical contributor records are not available for every older article.

InfoVacay Editorial Team now takes editorial responsibility for maintaining this content. When an article is reviewed, we check its central claims, remove outdated information and update practical details using official or primary sources whenever available. The updated date changes only when meaningful editorial work has been completed.
